Throughout the month: LES MUSICALES DE NORMANDIE – Classical concerts held at six heritage sites across Normandy, with artists from France and the UK.

LES JEUDIS DU PIN – A chance to see the stallions, mares, foals and distinctive black and red carriages at Le Haras du Pin every Thursday and some Tuesdays.

Until 24th: NIGHT TOURS AT MONT ST MICHEL – Held every evening except Sundays, tours of the abbey start at 7pm and are enhanced by music and lighting.

3-4th: LA NUIT DES SOUDEURS – ‘The Night Of Welders’ is held in Granville and brings together some 30 sculptors who produce work based on a theme. Sculptures are then auctioned off on Sunday afternoon.

TBC: FESTIVAL À FOND LA CALE – A family festival in St Martin de Bréhal with lots of activities on offer such as walking and cycling trips, dances, concerts and the Unidentified Floating Objects competition.

9-18th: JAZZ EN BAIE – Over 30 concerts and master classes with more than 150 artists performing along the coast from Granville to Genêts.

10-24th: LES TRAVERSÉES TATIHOU – An international folk music festival held on the small island of Tatihou off the coast of St Vaast La Hougue.

15th: ASSUMPTION OF MARY (Public Holiday)

From 27th: SEPTEMBRE MUSICAL DE L’ORNE FESTIVAL – Classical music concerts are held at heritage sites across Orne.
