MONT SAINT MICHEL – The wonder of the western world, an immense tower surrounded by a historical abbey in the centre of the bay. This visit offers guided tours of the abbey which occur in the daytime right through to the evening. There are also tours along the bay in which the abbey sits. This visit is FREE for those under 18, EU citizens (18-25) and about 9 euros for anyone else. At Mont Saint Michel, you can eat, shop and stay the night in the many places on offer!
BAYEUX TAPESTRY – At 70 foot long, the woven tapestry tells the story of celebrating the conquest of England by William, Duke of Normandy. The museum in which the tapestry is preserved holds alot of culture surround the history of Bayeux itself. Visitng Bayeux is a full day experience for all the family as there are plenty of things to do and see whilst you are there.
