Réunis en famille pour passer la fête de Noel nous avons apprécié “le fêté de Mielles”. Le charmant accueil de Polly Watt et un délicieux gateau, son gîte super bien équipé et bien pensé.
En cet hiver rigoreux, la cheminée est venu complèter l’ambiance du lieu confortable et chaleureuse.

Pefect Place for a Romantic Weekend

Super accueil, super séjour!!
Logis très agréeable et extrement bien equipé….Que du bonheur.Logis très bien équipé. Petits et grands ont vite trouvé leurs marquez. Situation idéale qussi pour que les enfants n’empruntent pas la route. Et pour bien faire nous avons eu le soleil. C’était super.

5 jours placés sous le soleil.  Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la jolie maison avec son jardin.  Les enfants ont joué avec les joués.  Merci pour votre accueil, merci pour votre souris et pour cette si belle maison.  Nous reviendrons c’est sur.

We had such a lovely time here in Bréhal! We only wish that we were staying longer – as in a few weeks longer!  Polly – thank you for the hospitality and the perfect house from which to travel the area.  We will definitely recommend the house to others!

We wanted to deeply thank you for this amazing holiday! We loved the comfy beds, the cleaness and of course the beautiful garden. Sad is that the weather didn’t like us this week 🙂 Our dog enjoyed the nature and we enjoyed this wonderful house.  All in all we had a superb stay and hope to make vacation in this cute little house again in the future.

We had a wonderful week with our son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren.  Your beach house was warm and welcoming after our day of activity (x7).  It was a perfect place and very convenient for all of our sightseeing expedition.  We would highly recommend it.

We had an amazing time here in this wonderful house in this beautiful area. The garden and the balcony are just beautiful and so we had many sunny breakfasts and dinners outside and the kids had a great time playing hide and catch in the garden. Ah and thank you Polly for beins so kind and friendly with phonecalls. Never had such a nice houseowner before For sure we are gonna tell friends about this beautiful place!

A lovely house that suited three generations down to the ground! We enjoyed barbecues (when the weather was kind), time in the garden and time on the beach. A beautiful location.

Thank you for a lovely visit! The hous is greast and so well-equipped for adults and children alike. We loved eating outside and the short walk so the beach is so easy for an afternoon’s seafood collecting or a morning swim. The beach is fantastic at both high and low tide and the people who came to collect the seafood are a sight to behold! Granville is a beautiful French town and the house is ideally situated to dit in a trip to Le Mont St Michel. We loved it – thank you.

Had a lovely stay. The house is very nice, although the stairs are rather steep! We had some great days out and the Route de la Baie is well worth it and also the bell foundry in Villedieu-les- Poêles. We are very sorry to leave – a week is far too short.

We had a great time in this beautiful house. Visiting Omaha Beach and Mont-St-Michel was amazing. While Cité de la Mer was a little disappointing.
The house was perfect for a family with children and dogs.

Un super weekend entre amis, dans cette maison très agréable et très functionnelle. De bellesballades à vélo le long du front de mer. Visite du Mont Saint Michel. Ballades à pieds à la mer, et bains de pieds pour les enfants.

At first….a happy new year already! We had a great time in your lovely house. After the ‘backdoor’, everything was fine. The men loved the fireplace, …we also.
The house was / is perfect for everybody, including my grandma and the dog.
The weather was great the first 4 days. We have seem many things. Thank you for you hospitality.

Bonjour Mme Watt, c’était la première fois que nous partions avec des amis et tout c’est bien passé dan cette magnifique maison.  La place ne manque pas et le confort non plus. La grande table était parfaite pour manger tous ensemble.  Quand nous sommes arrivés dans les chambres, nous étions comme chez nous et nos mères peuvent confirmer.  La maison est bien équipée (utensiles, serviettes,…).  Nous n’avons pas pu profiter des boites de jeu car difficiles de jouer avec les règles écrites en anglais.  C’était dommage. Nous avons vraiment appréciés de pouvoir aller à la mer quand on voulait.

Un tout grand braco pour botre maison si bien équipée, votre accueil si chaleureux, même le temps c’est mis de la partie pour rendre notre séjour magnifique!  Nous avons fait le plein de souvenirs.

 

The villa is very well equiped and we appreciated the cast range of wet weather items and the indoor and outdoor games for children of all ages.  Having lots of cutlery, plates etc all help with a large group.

We visited Mont St Michel – spectacular and needs a whole day so thanks for the advice to arrive for 9.30 am.  It is very steep so not good for infirm or small children.  Lovely run along the coast (Route de la Baie) and St Malo.  We went to Granville for shops.  Market there not worth it.

Cleaning ladies at the house exceptionally helpful and created a ramp for our wheelchair.  Oven gets hot v. quickly.

There are just two sets of keys so more would be helpful.  (This is now the case). Loved towels and bedding which all matched to avoid cross-use. It was lovely to have beach towels provided.

La semaine est passée trop vite! Maison très agréable, calme et fonctionnelle. Accueil chaleureux. Plage magnifique, ballade au milieu des agneaux, enfin tout pour passer un super séjour.

Hi Polly
We were here for the wedding anniversary for our parents (in-law).
It was a super midweek.
Loved the beach, the house and everything around it.
We went to the zoo and went to visit the Mont Saint Michel, also we went to Granville.

When we arrived it was a warm welcome. That gave us a good feeling, we were glad to help you to fix the shower with a few screws lol.
If we come back to this region, we’ll surely contact you for our staying.

We have enjoyed a fabulous week here ‘en famille’. Its a great location and very quiet out of season – pity about the weather this week!! Notwithstanding that, we have really enjoyed our stay and the little one have had a wonderful time.
The house itself is great. Very flexible accommodation and superbly equipped. The plethora of toys for little ones was a godsend and they’d have been happy to stay in the garden all week!
