Moyon is a small, rural village surrounded by countryside yet only a 15 minute drive to St Lô. In the centre of la Manche, the village is very accessible at just an hours drive from Cherbourg and Caen ferry ports, 114km from Dinard airport (with Ryanair flights) and 67km from Caen airport.
Amenities
The village is only a 10 minute walk from Gites Poppy and Lily and in it you will find a bakery, grocery shop, restaurant (lunch only), post office, butcher, playground, two bars, a tennis court and equestrian centre.
The nearest supermarket is a Carrefour Contact at Tessy sur Vire, a 10 minute drive, or there are several in St Lô to chose from, along with many other bakeries, cafes and a weekly market held in the square on Saturdays.

Things to do
We are surrounded by footpaths to explore and in the village there is the riding school (3 years old +), a playground, tennis court and boules pitch. A five minute drive away in La Chapelle-sur-Vire there is a very large playground and a towpath for walks and cycling.
The gites make an excellent base for days out to St Lô, Granville, Villedieu-les-Poeles, Mont-Saint-Michel, Bayeux, Coutances, the Viaduct de Souleuvre, Vire, La Chapelle-sur-Vire, St Malo and the stunning west coast beaches. There is an excellent swimming pool complex in St Lô and there are also many activities such as bungy jumping, parachuting, kite surfing (when the wind is up), sailing, kayaking, golf, riding and rock climbing within an hours drive.
